Kevin Comolli
Accel Partners
Kevin Comolli is the Managing General Partner of Accel Partners, London. Kevin has been active in start-ups, general management and venture capital investing for 24 years, in the USA, Europe and Israel.
Prior to joining Accel, Kevin spent four years as Partner at Doughty Hanson & Co., a leading European private equity fund with over $4bn under management. Kevin has served on the Board of Directors at companies in the UK, US, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Before joining Doughty Hanson & Co., Kevin spent two years as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International. Prior to his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Kevin spent 14 years with Fanuc, the world-leader in robotics and numerical controls where he held various board, general management, sales, marketing and engineering positions.
Kevin is an active member of the World Economic Forum.
Kevin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS with highest distinction from Northwestern University in Engineering and Mathematics.
Fergal Mullen
Highland Capital Partners
Fergal is a General Partner at Highland Capital Partners with primary areas of interest in e-commerce, software and business services companies with a particular emphasis on emerging growth opportunities in Europe.
Previously, Fergal served as a founding Partner of RSA Ventures, the corporate venture fund of RSA Security, Inc., where he led the European and Boston deal coverage. Prior to joining RSA Ventures, Fergal was a Senior Vice President of Cambridge Technology Partners in Europe and a member of the Executive Committee of the firm worldwide.
In 1997, Fergal initiated and launched Cambridge Capital I, a $25M venture fund established to invest in leading enterprise software firms. To date, the fund has returned approximately $200M to investors. He also spent a summer working at Morgan Stanley in the M&A group based in London.
Fergal serves on the Board of Trustees of Ecole Internationale de Boston and is a member of the North American Board of the UCD Smurfit School of Business.
Fergal holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Business Economics from Brown University.
Judy Gibbons
Accel Partners
Judy Gibbons has over 25 years experience in the computer industry with a focus on software, internet and consumer technologies. Before joining Accel, Judy was Corporate Vice President of MSN Global Sales and Marketing at Microsoft Corp managing the business across 40 markets worldwide.
Prior to Microsoft Judy held various product development and marketing positions at Hewlett Packard and at Apple Computer.
Judy has been ranked among the top 20 most influential European business women by the Wall Street Journal Europe for two successive years, and as one of Time magazine's five "People to Watch in International Business
Judy served on the main board of O2 until its purchase by Telefonica.
Judy holds an honors degree in Engineering from Brighton University in England and has undertaken executive education programs at Harvard Business School and London Business School.
Andy Carroll
Board Director
Andy joins the Autoquake Board with more than 16 years experience in the Automotive sector where he has held a variety of senior positions across the UK and Europe.
Before joining Autoquake, Andy was Managing Director at Chevrolet UK / GM Daewoo UK where he was instrumental in the re-launch of both Daewoo and Chevrolet under the management of General Motors.
Andy currently works as Sales and Marketing Director at GAZ International where he is responsible for leading the growth of the Russian commercial vehicle group, GAZ Group, outside the CIS. He heads up the International Sales team and oversees the expansion of the business on a global level, setting himself the challenge of doubling its size over the coming five years.
Andy also brings considerable insight into the internet car retail market to Autoquake, following two years at OneSwoop.com, a leading internet car retailer, where he joined as Operations Director followed by a promotion to Chief Operating Officer. During his appointment at OneSwoop.com, Andy implemented a restructure across the business, overseeing operations across the UK and achieving a 400% growth in vehicle sales.
Andy holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Andy drives a BMW 5 Series.
